Description

The flags are rectangular, 90 cm × 120 cm and divided diagonally by a line going from the upper hoist to the bottom fly. Bottom hoist is black, upper fly is orange. (picture, source)

The main element of the flag is usually the shoulder patch or a similar design. Since these are awarded to brigade-level (or equivalent) formations while flags are awarded to regiment/batallion-level formations, the latter flags have additional elements to distinguish the specific battalion. (...) The finials are in the shape of the corps emblems and attached to them are campaign streamers.

The Special Operations Engineering Unit (יחידה הנדסית למשימות מיוחדות, Yahalom) is a special operations forces unit of the Israeli Combat Engineering Corps of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
The name Yahalom (Diamond in Hebrew) is an acronym of "Special Operations Engineering Unit". The Unit traces its origins to the Yael Patrol (סיירת יעל, yael = ibex), a demining and demolition unit established in 1948.
Its flag is the same Engineers flag pattern with the CoA in the middle. The noticeable characteristic in this flag is that the CoA is featured on the middle, and not on the orange stripe.
